The balloting, which was initially scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, has been moved to the following week to allow more students to participate and secure accommodation.
According to a press release issued by the Students’ Union on Thursday, October 1, the exercise will now hold as follows:
Main Campus: Wednesday, October 7, 2026
College of Health Sciences: Thursday, October 8, 2026
The Union said the adjustment followed requests from students and was intended to give more students an opportunity to participate in the process.
It added that the specific schedules and balloting times for each level will be announced on Monday, October 5, through the Union’s official communication channels.
The Students’ Union, under the Legacy Administration, assured students of its commitment to their welfare and convenience throughout the accommodation process.
The statement was signed by Adam Mozeed Zeed, Executive President.
Students are therefore advised to take note of the new dates and await further details on the level-by-level schedule.
