“We Didn’t Release 2026/2027 Academic Calendar” — UNILORIN Management Announces
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has clarified that it has not officially released the Academic Calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, dismissing a calendar currently circulating on social media and other online platforms.
The University urged students, prospective candidates and members of the public to disregard any academic calendar being attributed to UNILORIN until an official version is released through the University’s recognised channels.
According to the clarification, dates currently being circulated for resumption, registration, lectures, matriculation, examinations and other academic activities for the 2026/2027 session should not be regarded as official.
Students and prospective candidates have also been advised to exercise caution and avoid relying on unverified information that could create unnecessary confusion.
The University Management is expected to communicate the official academic calendar to the public once it is formally approved and released.
