UNILORIN Senate Sets August 31 for Final-Year Results, Graduating List

UNILORIN Senate Sets August 31 for Final-Year Results, Graduating List

The wait may finally be coming to an end for final-year students of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), as the University Senate is scheduled to consider and approve the results of graduating students for the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, August 31, 2026.

The Senate meeting is expected to focus on the academic results of final-year students and the graduating list, which will determine the students who have successfully fulfilled the requirements for graduation.

The development comes after the earlier postponement of the Senate meeting and the withdrawal of the graduating status that had previously appeared on the University’s student portal.

For many final-year students, the development has been a period of uncertainty, particularly for those waiting to know whether they have officially cleared all academic requirements and will proceed with the next stages of graduation.

The upcoming Senate consideration is therefore expected to provide the much-needed clarity.

However, students should note that the graduating list can only be regarded as final after the appropriate University authorities have considered and approved it. Students are advised to remain patient and avoid relying on unofficial lists or unverified claims circulating on social media.

If approved, further administrative processes and updates to students’ academic records and portals are expected to follow.

For now, August 31 remains the date to watch.
