UNILORIN Issues Fresh Post-UTME Update, Sets Deadline for WAEC O'Level Verification
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has released an important update for candidates participating in the 2026/2027 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise, highlighting key screening dates and introducing a deadline for the verification of newly released WAEC O'Level results.
According to the University, the Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from Thursday, 13th August, to Saturday, 15th August, 2026.
Candidates who have successfully completed their registration are expected to begin printing their examination slips from Monday, 10th August, 2026. The slip will contain each candidate's examination date, time, and venue.
The University also reminded all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants that the registration portal will officially close on Sunday, 9th August, 2026. Candidates are therefore advised to complete every stage of the registration process before the deadline.
Attention to 'Awaiting Result' Candidates
UNILORIN has issued a special notice to candidates who registered with "Awaiting Result", particularly those who sat for the 2026 WAEC WASSCE for School Candidates, whose results have now been released.
Such candidates are required to log in to the University portal and verify their O'Level results on or before Sunday, 9th August, 2026. Failure to complete the verification process before the portal closes may affect their participation in the admission process.
Candidates can complete the verification by visiting the University's admission portal.
Applicants experiencing any difficulty during the verification process have been advised to contact the University of Ilorin Admissions Office via admissions@unilorin.edu.ng for assistance.
