The Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Ilorin, is celebrating another significant milestone as three of its distinguished academics have been entrusted with key leadership responsibilities by the University Management.

In the latest round of appointments, Professor Jamiu Adetayo Adeniran has been named Director, Centre for Internationalization and Strategic Partnership (CISP), while Professor Adeniyi George has been appointed Director, Technical and Entrepreneurship Centre (TEC). Also appointed is Dr. Mubaraq Amoloye, who will serve as Deputy Director, Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB).

The appointments reflect the University's confidence in the trio's wealth of experience, academic excellence, leadership capacity, and unwavering commitment to institutional development.

For the Department of Chemical Engineering, the appointments are a proud moment. Having two professors entrusted with leading strategic centres and another academic appointed to a key administrative role underscores the department's continued contribution to leadership, innovation, research, and academic excellence within the University of Ilorin.

The Centre for Internationalization and Strategic Partnership (CISP) plays a crucial role in expanding the University's global collaborations and partnerships, while the Technical and Entrepreneurship Centre (TEC) drives innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical skills development. The JUPEB Directorate, on the other hand, remains central to the University's pre-degree academic programmes and admission pathway.

These appointments are not only a recognition of individual accomplishments but also a testament to the calibre of scholars produced by the Department of Chemical Engineering.

As they assume their new responsibilities, expectations are high that their experience, vision, and dedication will further strengthen their respective offices and contribute meaningfully to the continued growth of the University of Ilorin.

TEAM PALADIN congratulates Professor Jamiu Adetayo Adeniran, Professor Adeniyi George, and Dr. Mubaraq Amoloye on their well-deserved appointments and wishes them wisdom, strength, and outstanding success as they serve the University in their new capacities.
