Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum, Yobe State Receives NUC Approval For  29 New Dual-Mandate Degree Programmes 

In a major milestone for the education sector, the National Universities Commission (NUC) has officially approved the establishment of 29 full-time Dual Mandate Degree Programmes for the Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum with effect from the 2025/2026 academic session.

The approval follows a successful resource verification exercise conducted by NUC panels of experts in line with the Federal Colleges of Education (Amendment) Act 2023, which empowers Colleges of Education to run both NCE and Degree programmes concurrently.

Under the leadership of the Executive Secretary, Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, the following degree programmes have been fully approved:
