Rivers State University (RSU) Announces Commencement of 2025/2026 Academic Activities

This is to inform all students of the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt that academic activities for the 2025/2026 academic session shall commence on Monday, 3rd November, 2025.
As part of preparations for the commencement of the new session, the University Management has approved that the hostels shall be opened on Sunday, 2nd November, 2025, to enable duly registered students sign in.
Students are therefore advised to pay their school fees and accommodation fees promptly to secure a bed space.
For proper allocation and management of bed spaces, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, on Friday, 24th October, 2025, inaugurated the Hall Wardens and charged them to maintain discipline in the hostels.
The Vice-Chancellor further warned that students must desist from the sale or transfer of bed spaces, noting that anyone found culpable shall face appropriate disciplinary measures.
Students are advised to comply fully with these directives to ensure a smooth start of the academic session.
