David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS) Uburu, Ebonyi State, is an Ultra-Modern 21" Century State of the Art International University of Health Sciences located at Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The University has the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) as well as other professional bodies to run seventeen (17) degree programmes in various faculties.

The University wishes to announce to the general public that admissions for the 2024/2025 academic session has commenced into the following programmes:

QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSIONS 

1. To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates MUST make the University their first choice in JAMB. Such candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or its equivalents. He/she must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 140 and above in the 2024 JAMB.

 2. Other qualified candidates who did not make the University their first choice but scored 140 and above in JAMB can do change of institution on JAMB Portal to make the University their first choice, and apply for admissions. 

3. Candidates who did not write JAMB at all but wishes to study in the University can apply into the Interim Joint Matriculations Board (IJMB) programme of the University. The IJMB programme is for a period of one year, after which, the candidate can be admitted directly into 200 level without writing JAMB. 

ADMISSION BY TRANSFER 

The University also accept students from other accredited universities who wishes to transfer from their current universities to our university. Such a candidate must have completed one academic session fromhis/her current university with evidence of JAMB admission letter and official academic transcript indicating that such a student is in good academic standing. Inter-University Transfer Form is available on our website. 

MODE OF REGISTRATION/PAYMENT

Candidates are required to visit our website www.dufuhs.edu.ng or   www.kdums.edu.ng and click on undergraduate application and follow the procedure to obtain admission form for either graduate, DMB or Inter- University transfer after making a payment of ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) only through the Remita payment platform. Further information on how to obtain any of the admission forms including payments for inter-university transfer are available on the University websites: www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng.
