Bayelsa Medical University (BMY) Releases Post UTME Admission Form For The 2024/2025 Academic Session
The general public is hereby informed that the admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session at Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) is now open.
𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮: Prospective candidates who wish to apply for admission into any of the listed programs below must meet the following requirements:
𝟭. 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗨𝗧𝗠𝗘): Candidates must have sat for the 2024 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and obtained a minimum score of 160.
𝟮. 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Must be 16 years and Above
𝟯. 𝗢'𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent. The required subjects include:
o English Language
o Biology
o Chemistry
o Physics
o Mathematics
𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
• Interested candidates should visit the Bayelsa Medical University website at www.bmu.edu.ng to apply for admission.
• You can access the application portal directly via https://my.bmu.edu.ng/applicants/login
• Candidates who have not yet chosen Bayelsa Medical University as their first choice on JAMB CAPS should do so and upload all O-Level results. This can be done at any nearby JAMB office or a JAMB-registered cyber café.
𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: Only candidates who meet the minimum UTME score of 160 and have selected Bayelsa Medical University as their first choice on JAMB CAPS will be considered for admission.
𝘼𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨:
• Computer Science (B.Sc) – 4-Year Duration
• Health Care Administration and Hospital Management (B.Sc) – 4-Year Duration
• Pharmacy (Pharm.D) – 6-Year Duration
• Radiography and Radiation Science (B.Sc) – 4-Year Duration
• Health Information Management (B.Sc) – 4-Year Duration
