 USMAN DANFODIYO UNIVERSITY SOKOTO (UDUS) MANAGEMENT SET TO HOLD MERGE CONVOCATION, UNVEILS PLAN

The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, UDUS sets to hold combined convocation ceremony for the 38th, 39th, 40th and 41st graduates with schedule of events kickoff from Monday 15th, April to Saturday 20th April, 2024 at the University premises.

The notification was contained in a flyer released to public, signed by the university Registrar, N.A Belko and obtained by Gamji press on Sunday 31st March 2024.

According to the flyer, the event will kickstart on Monday 15th April with the Vice Chancellor's press briefing at the senate chamber, followed by convocation debate and drama will take place on Tuesday 16th April at the University auditorium.

On Wednesday 17th April, novelty football match will ensued between the university management and the university team, and the following day will welcome the personality of National Security Adviser, to deliver lecture with the theme, "Federalism, Democratic governance and management of conflict and insecurity in Nigeria", at the Convocation theatre.

The next event will unveil the commissioning of projects subsequently followed by the Vice Chancellor's dinner and presentation of prizes, awards of various degrees of programs will be given at the Convocation theatre on the Grand finale.

It was also gathered that graduands are expected to collect their academic gowns from Monday 15th, April at the Dean office, student affairs division.
