Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin was established in September, 1974 and will be 50 by September, 2024.

 The College Community was already on the plans to celebrate her golden jubilee when the news about the transmutation of the College to a University by our beloved Governor, Mal. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq was broken. No doubt, our joy is multiplied. All alumni of the College, kwarans and well-wishers are cordially invited to join us in the celebration.
