Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA) has releases the appproved revised academic calendar for second semester, 2023/2024 academic session 

The Senate, at its 193th Regular meeting held on Wednesday, 24th April, 2024, received and considered the proposed revised academic calendar for the Second semester, 2023/2024 academie session as presented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academie), Prof. F.O. Akinwumi the course of deliberation, it was noted that:

• The Senate had earlier approved the academic calendar for both the First and Second semesters, 2023/2024 academie session, at its 188th Regular meeting held on Wednesday, 25th October, 2023.

• Consequent upon the implementation of CCMAS, the Senate at its 190th Regular meeting held on Wednesday, 24th January, 2024, revisited and extended the academic calendar earlier approved for the First semester, 2023/2024 academie session by three (3) weeks 

• The First semester, 2023/2024 examinations slated to hold from Tuesday, 9 to Thursday, 11 April, 2024 could not hold because of the public holidays declared by the Federal Government for the celebration of ld el Filtri. Therefore, the affected examinations were shifted forward. By implication, the earlier extended First semester academic calendar had automatically been further extended; and

• The last examinations for the First semester 2023/2024 academic session were held on Wednesday, 24th April. 2024.

Based on items (i) to (iv) above, the Senate deliberated extensively on the matter and approved as follows:

i.Two weeks Fist semester break, effective from Sunday, 28 April, 2024 for the Students as end of Semester break, and

i. Second semester, 2023/2024 academic session should commence on Sunday, 12" May, 2024, as detailed below:
