CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: GNI ACADEMIC MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME (Cohort 3) FOR SOKOTO INDIGENES
The Greenline Nurture Initiative (GNI) is pleased to invite qualified candidates to apply for the third cohort of its Academic Mentorship programme.
GNI was founded by Prof Jimoh Amzat and Dr Kazeem Aremu. It is an initiative borne out of the need to make young people realise and maximise their potential to make a bright future for themselves.
The GNI Academic Mentorship Cohort is a free 6-month mentorship program from the stable of GNI, targeting 100 outstanding undergraduate finalists in Sokoto State through which they will benefit from intensive training on how to prepare for and secure local and international jobs, scholarships and fellowships.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be final-year undergraduate students in degree-awarding institutions in Sokoto State or recent graduates
- Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or its equivalent in the last academic session
- Applicants must write an essay of not more than 250 words stating their passion for academic excellence, zea for postgraduate studies and why the GNI board should select them as part of the cohort
- Applicants must be following GNI on all social media platforms
