Trinity College of Health Sciences, one of CHAM colleges situated in the northern part of Nsanje District is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill the following vacancies;

1. PHARMACY LECTURER- 3 POSITIONS

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy

• Minimum two years of working experience

• Good standing with Pharmacy, Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA)

DUTIES

• Deliver high-quality teaching and support learning activities

• Teach and supervise students in the clinical area

• Assess the work and progress of students both in the classroom and in clinical practice and provide them with constructive feedback.

• Set, administer, mark and give feedback on examinations to students.

• Develop and apply innovative approaches to improving the learning environment, teaching, assessment and feedback methods.

• Positively engage in the professional development of teaching, learning and assessment.

• Make an inclusive contribution to the creation of new study programs and courses

• Assume designated leadership responsibilities within the department and participate in groups and institutional committees.

• Participate in curriculum development and reviews.

• Manage and support less experienced colleagues, and foster their professional and academic growth.

• As needed, represent the department in both internal and external relations.

• Encourage and expand external or internal networks.

2. PHARMACY TECHNICIANS- TWO POSITIONS

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Pharmacy

• Minimum of two years of working experience

• Good standing with Pharmacy, Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA)

DUTIES 

• Conduct classroom instruction

• supervise students during clinical practice in liaison with clinical staff and clinical instructors.

• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress both in the classroom and in clinical practice.

• Maintain appropriate records for students

• Sourcing teaching and learning materials
